Andres Villegas currently serves Langdale Industries, Inc. as a Manager for International Business, Government Affairs and Marketing. He is responsible for expansion of the company’s international business, advancing research and external relations with elected officials, universities and industry associations and coordinating marketing efforts for The Langdale Company’s golf and wood product affiliates.

Mr. Villegas is active in Georgia’s business community serving as Chairman of the Georgia Forestry Association’s Legislative Committee and as a Member of the Board of Directors for the Georgia Agribusiness Council. He also serves on the State of Georgia’s Traditional Industries Program Fiber Supply Committee, the State Forester’s Marketing Task Force, the Georgia Environmental Protection Division’s Satilla-Suwanee River Basin Advisory Committee and the UGA Agricultural Alumni Board where he is Chair of the Public Relations Committee.

Mr. Villegas is a graduate of The University of Georgia, where he earned a Bachelors of Science in Biological Science and a Certificate of International Agriculture. He is also an alumnus of the 2005 Leadership Georgia program and the 2004 Leadership Lowndes program. Prior to joining The Langdale Company, Andres Villegas served as the Director of International Trade & Domestic Marketing at the Georgia Department of Agriculture where he advanced trade of Georgia’s food and fiber products to markets throughout the globe and was as a liaison to foreign dignitaries and agricultural professionals visiting the state.
