William Bulpitt joined the Strategic Energy Initiative in 2004. Prior (2002-2004) he worked with RMT, Inc., a full service environmental consulting firm headquartered in Madison , Wisconsin . His projects with RMT centered on power plant due diligence performed for prospective buyers interested in the restructuring of the independent power industry, and in solving environmental problems for industrial plants in general.

Before joining RMT, Mr. Bulpitt had 27 years of work experience in dealing with complex engineering systems both in the research field and in practical applications for the energy and power industries. He served as Director of Environmental Affairs for a major independent power producer for over 6 years, dealing with projects and environmental issues both domestically and in many countries overseas. He has also recently been involved in directing all aspects of power plant development.
