Bob Ingram is National Account Manager for Norfolk Southern based in Roanoke, VA.  

He joined the Norfolk and Western (one of the predeccessor roads  to Norfolk Southern in 1970.  He held positions in the Mechanical, Transportation and Accounting Departments prior to joining the Grain Marketing Department in 1987.  In 1989, he was named Product Manager for Feed Ingredients and in 1995 named Product Manager of whole grains on Norfolk Southern. 

Bob was instrumental in the conversion of the NS feed grain market from a single car delivery program to a unit grain program beginning in 1989.  In 1997, he designed and implemented the 75 car unit grain train shuttle program for Norfolk Southern.  He has received two Chairmans Award for his work in this field. 

He now has responsibility for grain pricing and additionally sales account responsibility for the major grain train receivers on Norfolk Southern.  His hobbies include kayaking, mountain biking and golf.
