Billy Malone graduated Clayton Junior College in 1976. Began Solid Waste career as Solid Waste Director for Henry County, Georgia in March 1977 until joining Waste Management, Inc. from 1991 to 1998 as Division President and General Manager. Joined DeKalb County in 1998 as Assistant Director for the Sanitation Division. Elected as a Public Sector Director with Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA) – Georgia Chapter. Certified by SWANA as a Manager of Landfill Operations and Landfill Specialist.
