John Colquitt earned two Bachelor of Science degrees, one from Georgia Tech and the second from the University of Georgia.  Being educated as a forester, he has served in sales, supervisory and management positions in harvesting equipment development, forestry operations, wood chip export sales, shipping, and the wood fuel pellet business.  He organized a wood pellet business, first in 1996 and most recently has taken on the responsibility of President of Fram Renewable Fuels in Savannah, Georgia with the objective of manufacturing wood pellets and other wood fuel products in North America, primarily to fulfill contracts already negotiated with electricity generators in Europe.
