 One of the founders of FERCO, Milton Farris has served as a director and executive since the formation of FERCO. Later Mr. Farris was appointed by the Board of Directors to the position of CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors. Under his direction, FERCO negotiated the Burlington Project and obtained in excess of $37 million in funding under a Cooperative Agreement he negotiated with the US Department of Energy.


Prior to his involvement with FERCO, Mr. Farris owned and operated Farris & Associates, a successful private real estate development and management company with annual sales exceeding $20 million.


Milton Farris was elected in 1990 as a Commissioner-At-Large for Fulton County, which encompasses 14 municipalities with Atlanta being the largest. In 1974, prior to his work with Farris & Associates, Governor George Busby appointed Mr. Farris as a Director of Administrative Services for the state of Georgia. Following service in Vietnam, Mr. Milton Farris received his B.S. from Georgia State University.
