Phillip C. Badger has degrees in Agricultural Engineering and an MBA from Vanderbilt University coupled with over 30 years experience in renewable energy in academia, government, and the private sector. He is currently president of General Bioenergy, Inc., a bioenergy consulting company; Renewable Oil International® LLC (ROI), a company commercializing biomass-to-liquid fuels technology; and ROI Alabama Operations LLC and ROI Massachusetts Operations LLC, operating companies for ROI. During his tenure he has worked closely with the U.S. Department of Energy and the Southern States Energy Board on bioenergy projects, including management of the Southeastern Regional Biomass Energy Program and serving as Technical Director for the Southeast Biomass State/Regional Partnership. . Mr. Badger is recognized worldwide for his work related to bioenergy and is listed in Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in the World, and International Leaders of Achievement.
