Roger Reisert is President and CEO of C2 Biofuels, a Georgia–based technology company formed in May of 2005 to commercialize the technology for making fuel ethanol from biomass feedstocks.  Roger’s prior experiences include over 20 years in oil & gas and chemical companies including 13 years with Atlantic Richfield Corporation, which is now part of BP.  He has held executive positions in divisions of Fortune 500 companies including Baker Hughes Corporation and Phelps Dodge Corporation.

He has direct experience in the construction, startup and optimization of large, capital intensive petroleum and chemical plants.  Additionally, he has expertise in worldwide petroleum markets, in alternative energy technologies, and in developing new technologies in the chemical industry.

Roger’s education includes a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree from Georgia Institute of Technology, and an MBA from the University of Houston.
