Tom Putnam has 28 years of cogeneration experience, primarily in paper mills and more recently in a wood products facility (OSB). A 1978 Pulp and Paper graduate of N. C. State University, Tom has held a variety of operating positions including six years as the Plant Manager at a linerboard mill. Tom is currently employed by Langboard in Quitman, GA and has been involved in their recent plant upgrade, which includes a cogeneration system. Langboard, Inc. is a division of The Langdale Company based in Valdosta, GA.
